Madras Fun Tools and the District Promotion Tourism Council, (DTPC) Kerala, brings you South India's first Malabar River Festival on the 23rd and 24th of August, 2013.

In organizing this festival, aim is to promote the sport of White Water Kayaking in South India and display the incredible, unexplored rivers that Kerala has to offer the international paddling community.

The festival will be held on the Chalipuza and Iruvanjipuza rivers (about 35 kilometers from the major town of Calicut or Kozhikode) and will include various categories of competitions including kayak slalom, a boater cross, a rodeo as well as a separate group of events for beginners. Participants will also have an opportunity to explore the region by themselves both before and after the festival.
